Type: Cobra 427 style roadster
Brief overview of car:
The Mk3 Roadster is the 3rd incarnation of the extremely popular Cobra style car from Factory Five.
Based around a jig-welded original style 4 inch round tube frame, the Mk3 uses Mustang donors from 1987 to 2004 for it's running gear and engine. (see FFR website for donor part variations depending on donor year)
Hand laid 3/16 of an inch fiberglass makes up the body tub and panels with aluminium for some of the internal panels. The 5.0L V8 Mustang engine is probably the most popular choice but it can also accomodate other engine options.
