ERA claim that there is no fabrication or fitting involved when you building an ERA 427. Delivered, the basic kit looks like a real car.

A tubular steel sub-structure is welded directly to the main 4" x 3" rails and extends completely around the passenger compartment. This structure provides mounting areas for the body support panels, door hinges, latches and dashboard.

Random strand mat for all body panels is used to prevent cloth pattern print-through. Thickness varies between 3/16" and 1/4". Also features factory installed inner panels.
