 The Limited Edition Team Shelby 85TH Commemorative GT40 In celebration of Carroll Shelby's 85TH birthday Amy Boylan, President of Shelby Automobiles Inc. has commissioned Shelby Distribution USA to reproduce the three dominating GT40 race cars that accomplished one of the greatest feats in American automotive racing history.
In 1966 Carroll Shelby's race teams consisting of Miles & Hulme, McLaren & Amon, Gurney & Grant conquered the 24 hours of Le Mans and proved to the world that there would be no mistaking the thunderous roar of American Muscle. Now you can own a piece of American history today. This Limited Edition Commemorative GT40 is built to exact standards with 90% of the vehicles parts interchangeable with that of the original car! Here is what you get:
Standard Equipment Includes
Original "Monocoque" style chassis with pressed steel roof.
